The most important thing for pimples and blemished skin is the continuous and regular routine in skincare.
Mostly one recognizes blemished skin by its slightly greasy, shiny appearance. Blackheads appear especially on the face, often on the neck, shoulders, chest and back. In moderate to severe cases, the skin is reddened, and inflamed pimples and pustules develop.
What is oily skin?
The appearance of oily skin is large-pored, shiny and sometimes impure. The complexion has a firm structure and appears rather pale due to the hardly recognizable blood vessels. Because the skin produces too much body fat – sebum – the pores are enlarged and clearly visible. Pimples and blackheads are easily formed. Several factors play a role in the development of impure skin and acne. The production of sebum and the cornification of the skin usually increase due to hormonal factors. The pores clog up, the sebum cannot flow off – blackheads first appear. Then the pores become inflamed, the skin forms pimples or even acne, the most common skin disease in the world. 75-95% of all adolescents show symptoms of acne during puberty, especially on the face. However, smoking, stress, poor diet or cosmetics can cause skin blemishes at any age.
In the case of blemished skin and acne, special care is required during facial care. Too frequent cleaning with aggressive washing substances can even worsen acne. Therefore, use mild cleansing and perfume-free skincare products from Dr.Shahid, do without oils and greasy make-up, and also use oil-free sunscreens such as UV-GEL/CREAM SPF 30.
Dr. Shahid Skincare Acne Intensive Treatment/Radiating and Brightening Skin Serum/cream/lotion is a skincare range for blemished skin and acne. With MPC (Multipeptide Complex) & Probiotic complexes with additional active ingredients especially for impure skin, the products dissolve calluses and regulate sebum production so that the skin calms down.
Note: In the case of so-called “physiological acne” you usually only have to fight blackheads and pimples for 1-2 years. Clinical acne is present in about 40% of cases and requires medical treatment as it can last up to 20 years. Therefore, Dr. Shahid Skincare advises consulting a dermatologist if the symptoms worsen or last longer.
